Just before leaving for ice skating yesterday afternoon, we decided we should really do some New Years Eve celebrating with some friends....so, we called our friends, the Stokes, to see if they wanted to come over and join us for some games and snacks! It was a fun night....we love having good friends who allow us to be spontanious! 
We played Ticket to Ride....while we had a video set up in the living room for the younger kids.

The Stokes left around 11:30....we quickly cleaned up, then turned on the TV to watch the NY celebration! Jessica was very very very happy to bring in the new year with the Jonas Brothers!!!! and Demi Lovato
It's 2009! It's midnight....time to go to bed!!!!

Midnight may be time to go to bed but in case you didn't notice... it's not time to sleep until about 12:30 when the fireworks stop. At least it is only one night though. The 4th of July lasts for a week!
We had a great time too!! Not the greatest pic of me though, I don't look very happy, must have been caught off guard by the camera! Thanks again, we love hanging out with you!
