Well, we knew it would happen....the rain has set in....from what we have heard it has taken a while to get here.....but, it is here, and the past few days we have been singing some good old classic rain songs.....one of which:
"It's raining, it's pourning....the old man is snoring......"
Well, a little while after singing that one time, Kayleigh started singing it......this was her translation of it.....
"It's raining, it's pouring Grandma (or sometimes she says Grandpa) is sleeping!!!!"
I thought it was sort of funny....she picked up on this song, had created a picture in her head of an old person (sorry to Grandma and Grandpa) who is sleeping, so when she went to sing it on her own, those were the words she thought we had been singing!!!!

Painting Pumpkins
This year for Halloween, we decided to paint pumpkins, instead of carve them....for some reason, I just wasn't in to mood to scoop out the gunk!!!
Our trip to Disney Land!!
Well, we finally went to Disney Land....hard to believe we have been home for almost a week....it was a fun vacation! Here are SOME of the pictures....we have several more!!!

Monsters Inc. Ride at California adventure....this was a fun ride....Do you like Matthew's attempt to get us all in the picture???!!!
Jared....he was even unsure of the Merry-Go-Round!!!
A glimpse of what standing in lines were like....one of us was holding Jared, trying to convince him he would like the ride, and one of us would be holding Kayleigh because she was "too tired to stand!!!!"
I could tell Jared like this ride when we were done with it....however, as we were getting done, he said, "I didn't like it....but my mickey mouse stuffed animal did!".....he just couldn't admit to liking it!!!

THUNDER MOUNTAIN.....
Kayleigh went on every ride, and loved every ride! The scarier, the better! This is her
waiting for her turn for Thunder Mountain!
NEMO SUBMARINE RIDE....We were glad we got up early to be there first thing for this ride on the 2nd day....
The lines were always over an hour long wait....no fast pass for this ride.
It has replaced the classic submarine ride....fun, and it was worth getting up for!

JUNGLE RIDE!
JUNGLE RIDE!It's such a classic Disney Land Ride, isn't it?
BUZZ LIGHT YEAR RIDE!!!This is one of the new rides....a lot of fun....we went on this ride probably 7 times!!!
You have lazer guns that you shoot at targets as you go through the ride....they add up your points as you go.
