Fun Day!!!

Some things, I guess I just have to blog/document without pictures. This is one of those times. I had a great day today. The kids went back to school after having had a wonderful vacation....don't get me wrong, we enjoyed our break.....the kids actually let us enjoy sleeping in.....and we had a lot of fun, rest, and relaxation.....it was hard to wake up to an alarm clock this morning.....with that being said, I have been looking forward to them going back to school today....because, after dropping them off at school, I headed up to my sisters, Alisa's, to spend the day with her, her new baby, Owen (his picture is in a previous post), my MOM, my other sister, Liz, and her (almost 1 year old) son, Miles. We didn't DO much.....we visited, watched Owen have a photo shoot with Liz, I got to hold a baby, got to play a lot of peek-a-boo with Miles, had lunch, and Mom treated us to Jamba juice. It was fun to just hang out with some wonderful ladies that I love! Only thing that could have made it better would have been to have my other sister, Amy, and all of my fabulous sisters-in-law to join us.....but, given that wasn't a possibility, it really was a perfect day after Christmas break day for me!!! Thanks to my husband for transporting Kayleigh and thanks to my wonderful friend who watched her this afternoon, so I could enjoy the day!!!!

Help!!! I need somebody!!! Help!

I am not sure how many of you out there use google reader. I have used it and loved it for a while to follow peoples blogs.....probably your blog!!! In the past, I have been able to click on your name, and it brings me to your blog, but now when I click on your name, it brings me to a page that says something similar to:

this page can not be displayesd.

check for possible solutions......etc.

I am frustrated.....i want to be able to actually get to peoples blogs as i see they are updated.....i can still read the posts, but i can't see the nice background, and wonderful layouts. Anyway, if anyone out there can help me with this, let me know!!!! In the meantime, know i continue to enjoy reading what you post, but i just am not viewing it in a way that lends me to commenting!!!

Welcome, Cousin Owen!!!

Cousin Owen was born on December 24, 2009.....we love living close enough that we were able to go visit him on Saturday, December 26!!! He is such a cute baby! Matthew was kind enough to take our kiddos home that night, and I stayed to help Alisa and Ryan make it through their first night at home with a baby....my mom came the following day from Utah......it was fun to get to hold a new born baby!!!! What a sweetie! Congrats to Alisa and Ryan!!!! We love you guys!!!

Christmas 2009

Here is a slide show of our Christmas Eve and Christmas morning!! It was a great couple of days....excitement was in the air, and the best part, Santa came (and delivered)....ok, the best part, we were all together as a family creating some fun memories!!!

Change of Tradition!!!

Usually we have a Christmas cookie baking Saturday in December....but, I didn't want all the cookies around.....so, we had a spoon dipping (into chocolate and candy cane....later used in a cute hot chocolate basket for teacher's gifts) and gingerbread house decorating Saturday. It was a lot of fun!!!

Kayleigh definitely wins the award for sticking with the gingerbread houses the longest!!! She LOVED it, and just kept going!!!!

December can be EXHAUSTING!!!!

Just ask Kayleigh!!! Two days in a row, she just fell asleep in the middle of the day in the most random places on the floor!!!!!

A visit with SANTA!!!

We had a ward Christmas party at the beginning of December! The Christmas magic really began when the kids got to visit with Santa!!!!
